coming out of hibernation

After spending most of winter tucked up indoors painting colourful still life studies (oh the joys of finally having heating in the studio) I am back outdoors looking for new landscape inspiration. It feels good to be stomping around again.

I can't for the life of me think of an appropriate title for this new piece. I always feel I lack imagination when it comes to creating titles. Until my brain comes to life it shall have to stay "floral composition".

A postcard sized watercolour study produced for Hayley Budge's "Secret Mini Art Show" which took place last weekend at the Vindlyse Gallery in Holm (Orkney). Hayley has managed to raise a fantastic £4570 in total for the MS Trust.
